Verde River Jeep Tours operates by permit on the Fort McDowell Indian Reservation, home of the Soverign Yavapai Nation. Each tour is a unique journey through the American West. Local guides have their own personality and deliver a unique tour experience. Sit back and enjoy the ride or get active and ask questions. Flora, Fauna, Geology and Native American way of life are all included. The trail is not too bumpy but is definitely full of adventure. Our capable Jeeps are built to handle the terrain and load. All tours include a nature walk where you can get out, stretch your legs, and enjoy the views. Watch out for rattlesnakes!
Tours depart We-Ko-Pa Resort in Fountain Hills. Guest will meet in the beautiful air-conditioned lobby of the resort 15 minutes before departure time. Prompt on-time departures are required for this ultimate adventure. Our Jeep has water on board for your safety and we recommend you bring any other water or snacks you require. After your journey the trip is not complete without a stroll through the casino or a meal at one of our award-winning restaurants.

Your adventure your way! Our Jeep gladiator can accommodate up to 10 people or 1700 lbs. Book a charter and fill it with your family and friends. AOW picks up at area hotels and even private residences in the Scottsdale and East Valley areas. Please check with our staff for specific pick-up locations.
Join AOW and Cowboy Troy at the stables for an exceptional desert adventure. Start your journey at the hotel with a warm welcome from a western Jeep guide, where you'll learn about local highlights on your way to the stables. Then, saddle up for a memorable horseback ride, including a unique crossing of the Verde River. After the ride, take a moment to bond with your horse by combing its mane before heading back to civilization, making it another iconic AOW adventure.
